Today we’d like to introduce you to Link With Every1!
Link With Every1 is a movement that focuses on the empowerment and equality of ‘every1.’ The group strives for inclusion through various forms of art, including photography and music. Through its efforts, Link With Every1 hopes to raise money for the ACLU. The group chose the ACLU after researching several nonprofits who were focused on equal rights of all people.
Link With Every1 was formed after the 2016 election. Disappointed by the outcome, Matt Blum decided to put a team together and use their voices to bring a change to society. Link With Every1 encourages storytelling and provides a platform where people from every race, gender, sexual orientation, and ethnicity can speak their mind. You can share your photos and stories through Link With Every1’s website here.
Located in Nashville, Blum and the Link With Every1 team utilizes music to fundraise for the ACLU and get the word out about their movement. So far, they’ve released an EP called Link With Every1 on May 12 and have held benefit concerts around the city. The EP features songs from Casey Cook, Layne, Dave Shah, Tyra Thompson, and Wild Kites, and three spoken word poems by Madison Murphy.
Next up is another benefit show at the High Watt, featuring Forest Fire Gospel Choir, Oginalii, Wild Kites, and Benjamin Poss. You can purchase tickets here!
