Today, Shane Becker, who performs under the moniker Indian Run, released a new track called “I Hope You Never Call.” The song comes after his previous single, “Been Alright,” which was released last November.
Becker writes, produces, and provides the instrumentation on all of the songs that he releases. “The song was all recorded and mixed in my home studio and then mastered by Kyle Monroe at Tiny Tape Room in Nashville,” Becker states.
Becker routinely finds inspiration in the woods and the outdoors and likes to include those influences in his music. “I tried to experiment with more of a folk genre with this one. I was very inspired by the woods and the outdoors and I felt like it fit the vibes perfectly for what I was going for,” Becker shared,” One of my favorite albums has been 22 A Million by Bon Iver and it has been super inspiring to me. It inspired me to push myself in a direction that was different than what I was used to when it came to writing and production.”
The song’s music video, which was filmed in an abandoned junk yard, should be released soon. And be sure to keep up with Indian Run on social media so that you don’t miss the new music that he has in store!
